On Sunday 13th of October the annual Co-Op Superstores Raceday took place at Cork racecourse, Mallow.
This the seventh successive year of our successful sponsorship of the race day at Cork Racecourse
Although the weather was wet it didn't dampen sprits and a vibrant crowd enjoyed the days racing across a 7 race card, which included the feature Co-Op Superstores Handicap Steeplechase.
The race itself was contested by 6 horses, of which The Banger Doyle trained by John Queally and ridden by local jockey Michael O'Sullivan won impressively after a mid race mishap.
